The Lake in the Sky Air Show has been described as “the best in the west” by one of the Navy’s participants.  This year’s show will include exciting aerobatic performances by several top performers including Bill Cornick, Jon Melby and Spencer Suderman

Young Eagles flights are scheduled for Sunday, August 26th with sign up for the flights on the day of the Air Show, Saturday, August 24th.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS - AIR SHOW WEEKEND
 P-51 

Friday, August 23: "Pre Flight" Party featuring the military pilots and performers.  The party will be hosted(TBD) at the Lake Tahoe Airport, KTVL.  Speaker times TBA.

Saturday, August 24: Lake in the Sky Air Show. Guaranteed fun for the whole family.  Gates open at 8 AM with a hearty pancake breakfast offered by the Kiwanis Club..  Then you won’t want to miss the spectacular opening ceremonies at 10 AM.  Get up close to vintage Warbirds, military static display aircraft, and many more other aircraft on display.

Come for the spactacular aerobatic demontrations by our featured pilots,
Bill Cornick , Spencer Suderman and John Melby

Homebuilt, experimental, Highway Patrol, CALSTAR, Civil Air Patrol and other aircraft are also invited to participate.

You’ll see displays of equipment used by fire emergency response and search and rescue teams.

Sunday, August 25: Young Eagles Take Flight. Youths age 8 to 18 are introduced to flying at no cost! Must sign up with a parent at the Air Show on Saturday, August 24th. There will be no signups on Sunday.

Come to the Flight Deck Restaurant. Sit out on the observation deck for breakfast to watch the Military and the other static display aircraft depart.
